Installation Linux With ExpertGui

* 1 PC

– CD-ROOM

– Keyboard

– dan lain-lain

* CD/DVD Installer

Installasi Debian

Merubah Aturan BIOS :

– saat Booting pertama tekan Delete atau F2

– pilih pengaturan First Boot (boot pertama)

– ubah menjadi CD-ROOM

– tekan F10 untuk keluar dan menyimpan

Tahap-Tahap Installasi

* Pada menu inputan pilihan jenis linux, ketikkan expertgui;

“Press F1 for help, or Enter to book : expertgui

In the menu input, choose other linux write expertgui

* Pilih bahasa yang diinginkan, tekan Enter;

Choose laguage what you want, press Enter

* Pilih negara atau area, dan tekan Enter;

Choose country or area, and press Enter

* Pilih daerah atau area, dan tekan Enter;

Choose area, and press Enter

* Pada tampilan keyboard, pilih American English atau lainnya ;

In the display keyboard, choose American English or other

* Konfigurasikan jaringan (network) jika diperlukan, pilih “configure network manually’;

Configuration network when you want, choose “configure network manually”

– isikan alamat IP pada dialog selanjutnya ;

Input the IP address, in the next dialog

– isikan ‘netmask’ sesuai tingkatannya;

Input the ‘netmask’ agree with level

– isikan alamat IP getway pada dialog selanjutnya;

Input the “IP address getway in the next dialog

– setelahnya tulis hostname;

afterthat write the host name

– tulis DNS pada konfigurasi jaringan

Write DNS into network configuration

* Pilih “manually edit partision table”;

Choose “manually edit partision tabel”;

* Buat skema partisi

Make partition paint

– root = 5GB, filesystem = ext3

– home = 5GB, filesystem = ext3

– var = 10GB, filesystem = ext3

– swap = 2x capacity of RAM, filesystem = swap

For examples 128 of RAM = swap 256

– usr = space, filesystem = ext3

Catatan :

Note :

– untuk partisi root, dibuat sebagai partisi boot juga dengan cara mengaktifkan flag bootable

To partition root, make to partition boot and also with a way activating flag bootable

– setelah selesai mempartisi pilih “write change to disk” and ‘yes’

* Pilih ‘No’ pada konfigurasi waktu

Choose ‘No’ in time configuration

* Pilih zona waktu yang kamu inginkan

Choose timezone what you want

* Konfigurasi pemakai

Configuration user

Mengatur pemakai dan keamanan

Setup users and passwords

– Masukkan users root password

Enter password root user

– Masukkan nama untuk user

Enter name for user

– Masukkan nama untuk user account

Enter name for user account

– Masukkan password untuk user

Enter password for user

* Tekan enter pada install the base system;

Press enter in the install the base system

* Tekan enter pada configure the package manager;

Press enter in the configure the package manager

* Tekan enter pada select and install software;

Press enter in the select and install software

* Pada participate in the package usage survey, pilih yes, tekan enter;

In the participate in the package usage survey, choose yes, press enter

* Pada software to install, pilih desktop environment standard system, tekan enter;

In the software to install, choose desktop environment standard system, press enter

* Tekan enter pada install ‘GRUB boot loader’ on a harddisk;

Press enter in the install ‘GRUB boot loade’r on a harddisk

* Pada install the “GRUB boot loader to the master boot record”, pilih yes, tekan enter;

In the install the “GRUB boot loader to the master boot record”, choose yes, press enter

* Masukkan ‘GRUB password’;

Enter ‘GRUB password’

* Pada “finish the installation”, tekan enter;

In the “finish the installation”, press enter
